I have had a lot of really great things happen this year - filming on the new Anatomy of a Step DVD, hanging out with the lovely ladies of Fat Chance® at Tribal Union, and workshops with the fabulous Deb Rubin and Zoe Jakes....and much more.

So, what does next year hold? We shall see...Tamarind is busy cooking up some great new things. Stay tuned!

In the meantime, I plan on resting as much as possible before the coming year. Happy Holidays everyone! Hope to see you all soon!

Zoe's workshop was tremendous. I love the new format she's using. I was not sore at all last night or today, but I feel like I had a fantastic workout and stretch today. I feel 10 feet tall.
What a great show last night! As always, it's a huge treat to be able to witness the the talents of Zoe Jakes and listen to the awesome jams of Beats Antique! How fantastic...can't wait til she comes back through!
She has inspired me to work on my isolations!

So, how do you top Filming in San Francisco? By bringing Fat Chance Bellydance® to Milwaukee, that's how!

The Friday night show with the lovely ladies of Fat Chance Bellydance®
was fantastic! Each and everytime I see them, I am in total awe of just how spectacular and talented each and everyone of them are. In addition, we were blessed to also have the talents of Colleena Shakti, Mark and Ling Shien Bell of Helm, and Megha Gavin.

Saturday brought a great day of workshops and another great show.

Sunday was a total blast, because not only did I get to take some great workshops I also got to give out some motorcycle rides to the lovely ladies of Fat Chance and Melanie Moore from Unda! It was fantastice!!

Where do I begin? It was my first trip to San Francisco and what a trip it was! Let me start off with the Devotion Show put on by Fat Chance Belly Dance. It was beautiful!! The location was fantastic, the dancing beyond words. I was so excited to be able to go and witness the magic first hand. It was great. But, that was just the beginning.

The Saturday of filming started out under hot lights, but despite the heat was fantastic. I got to dance with the lovely ladies of Ghawazi Caravan, Devyani and Fat Chance Bellydance®
It was incredible...beyond incredible...a dream come true to dance with so many talented women!! I can die a happy woman! Afterwards, we hung out and just had fun. I went to bed, but hardly got a wink after so much excitement.

Sunday brought another day of filming in the heat. Apparently, it was unseasonably warm in San Francisco, but that didn't dampen my spirit! During filming, DeAnna of Devyani, filmed a new episode for Devyani TV. Stay tuned for it to be posted! After a long day in the studio, I was just as exhilarated as the day prior!

It was just incredible. Thank you to everyone who I was blessed to dance with, to the lovely ladies of Fat Chance, and Carolena. Much love all!

Off to a great start to the year!

I had a good time performing with the lovely Tamarind ladies. In addition, I was completely entertained at the benefit for Nilaja.
